Cartografix shows artworks that are a representation of imaginary urban layouts viewed from space at night.
Started in 1988 as the birth of Utopolis itself (see quicktime movie), the work consists of millions of reflective points handpainted on a black surface. When all assembled, the Utopolis boards measure
ten by twenty feet.
